IARC

IARC – the Israel Association of Radio Communication was founded in 1948 as the Israel Amateur Radio Club.

IARC is our national amateur radio society. Any Israeli radio amateur (or SWL) over the age of 17 may apply to become a member.

The membership fee finances the services IARC provides to members. Here are just a few examples:

• Representing Israeli amateurs at national level (Ministry of Communication, Ministry of Environment, and other bodies)
• Raising public awareness of ham radio, and training the next generation
• Organising lectures, talks, field days, trips, social events
• Maintaining a national network of FM/DMR repeaters for day-to-day and emergency use

The membership year runs from January 1st – December 31st. Payment at the beginning of year helps us budget for the year's events and activities. If you join IARC after October 1st in a calendar year, you'll also receive full membership for the following calendar year.
