IARC

The Israel Association of Radio Communication (IARC)  was founded in 1948 as the Israel Amateur Radio Club. IARC is Israel's national amateur radio society, and any Israeli radio amateur (or SWL) over the age of 17 may apply to become a member.

The membership fee finances the services IARC provides to members. Here are just a few examples:

• Representing Israeli amateurs at national level (Ministry of Communication, Ministry of Environment, and other bodies)
• Raising public awareness of ham radio, and training the next generation
• Organising lectures, talks, field days, trips, social events
• Maintaining a national network of FM/DMR repeaters for day-to-day and emergency use

The membership year runs from January 1st – December 31st. Payment at the beginning of year helps us budget for the year's events and activities. If you join IARC after October 1st in a calendar year, you'll also receive full membership for the following calendar year.

• 250NIS per person per calendar year

Club and family stations

• 300NIS per calendar year for a club station, or family residing at the same address (including partner and children)

Youth

• 150NIS per calendar year for a person up to the age of 18

Soldiers in Compulsory Service ("Hova")

• Free of charge

Gold Membership

• 1000NIS for calendar year 2025

Platinum Membership – Life Membership

• 6250NIS
