The Israel Association of Radio Communication (IARC) was founded in 1938 as the Palestine Radio Amateur Society. In 1946 its name changed to The Amateur Radio Society of Palestine, and in 1947 to Radio Club of Palestine.
With the founding of the State of Israel the name changed to the Israel Amateur Radio Club. In 2024 we moved to the current name, in recognition that we are much more than "amateurs".
IARC is Israel's national amateur radio society, and any Israeli radio amateur (or SWL) over the age of 17 may apply to become a member.
The membership fee finances the services IARC provides to members. Here are just a few examples:

The membership year runs from January 1st – December 31st. Payment at the beginning of year helps us budget for the year's events and activities. If you join IARC after October 1st in a calendar year, you'll also receive full membership for the following calendar year.
