General TechSat Status:
The BBS server software and other improvments are being tested mostly on the ground but experimental alpha versions are being loaded from time to time to the spacecraft for our own internal tests. Users might be able to communicate GO-32 while the BBS is on and enabled. There is no BBS uptime schedule at the moment and we will announce the start of BBS operation when time comes. Check this site and GO-32's beacons for updates.
Please do not send reports at the moment.
Current TechSat Status:
Jan. 2004 - BBS V9.8 is ON for BETA Uplaod and Download testings. Output Power - 1W
24/11/02 - BBS down for software upgrade. New system (v9.5) beacon can
be heard every 30 seconds ( Non AX25
frames - use TNC in MON ON , MCOM ON or TRACE ON to decode it). BBS will be up again for experiments
in few days.
5/11/02 - Techsat's downlink output power has been reduced to 1 watt.You may notice the change in
the "TX current" telemetry channels 02041,02046,02073 5/11/02 - Users list since Sep02 has been added to the BBS files section . 22/10/02 - BBS is running and partly operational. 2 PB Users limit. 29/9/02 - WinTelem v1.0 - Working on
a new help file. will be released soon. 22/9/02 - WinTelem v1.0 - TechSat's
Telemetry decoding software is now available for amateur use.
