Israel Amateur Radio Club Main PageAmatuer radio examsWe would like to perform amateur radio exams for the various license classes at the end of September. If you are interested, please contact Moshe Inger at 4z1pf@iarc.org. A toast at the IARC offices, July 22On Thursday, July 22, a few dozen hams met at the old/new club offices. The evening started by wrapping the Hagal issues that will be mailed at the beginning of next week to all IARC members. Later we gathered at the office, that somehow looked bigger, cleaner, and roomier than ever before. We raised a toast towards the occasion and greetings took place. We ended the evening by planning the location of equipment that will probably arrive next Wednesday. Among the friends present was also Nathan Gidron (4Z5NG), the ex-Motorola-chairman who took care of us in the past and still does so today. This is a great opportunity to thank him and the Motorola people for supporting the club for many years now. We should also thank Ziv 4X1UK for the effort made so that the offices would look honorary. Finally, we plan an official meeting of the offices, probably 2 weeks from now. We would invite all those Motorola people that were in contact with us on the last few weeks and supporting us until we got our offices back. Until then, and in the future, we meet every Thursday at 19:30. We're getting back to the lecture rounds. Every ham with ideas, requests or volunteering spirit is hereby invited to contact Tuvia 4X4GT. After lots of meetings with the supporting management, headed by Aaron Mirski and with the kind and energetic help of our friend Nathan Gderon, we are returning to our club at the Motorola building, Meitav St. 10, Tel-Aviv. Lots of thanks to Nathan and Yeki from Motorols. To celebrate the event, we will raise a toast on the near Thursday, June 22. All are welcome.
