The Land

It well could be said that all this site is about the land.
 My  first years in the country were spent  working
on the  land... moving irrigation pipes, hoeing
weeds, etc....  Driving tractor on the fields
here in the flattest part of Israel, one
gets  a  real feel for the land...
seeing horizon to horizon
throughout   all   the
seasons and hours
of the day.

This love for the land doubtlessly set the stage for the paintings in the years to come.......
